Education
Give teachers less ability to confiscate and search for items on students, give students more privacy.
Make state schools have the higher level of education that is received by private schools.
Teachers need to have a higher level of qualification so that the level of education is higher.
Give more funding for disabled students in schools.
Young People
Community service will be replacing ASBOs but in a result of a serious incident the ASBO will be used as a form of punishment
The voting age will be reduced to 16 as young people will be our future but because of this students will be educated of politics at a younger age so that their vote will be accurate to what they want.
We will keep the legal drinking age at 18 instead of the proposed increase of it becoming 21.
There will be an increase of advertising against drink issues and binge drinking to deter underage drinkers and drunken people walking around the streets.
There will be greater after school hours and week end jobs available to young people especially those that include practical skills to increase people’s work abilities.
Immigration
Tighten the borders and improve the border controls.
Place a limit on the amount of immigrants coming into the country per region, only places with jobs available will be allowed to have immigrants
Tighten the student visa system.
Health
Increase spending to the NHS
Patients have a better choice of GP’s
Everyone will have access to a GP from 8am to 8pm
Free dental check-ups for all 5year olds and under
Money from administration will be reduced to allow more funding for staff and medicines for patients.
The amount of paperwork will be reduced so doctors and nurses can concentrate their time more on the patients they are caring for.
One single phone line will be available for all urgent emergencies.
Staffing opportunities and job positions will be increased.
More money will be allowed for training of staff for a better health care.
Crime
Reduce the amount of paperwork need to be filled in by the police so the can concentrate their time more on investigating and tracking down criminals.
Rebuild the public’s confidence in the police and crime fighting system.
Provide detailed information on crime in the area to the public.
Elderly
We will keep the free bus pass for those who are 60 and above. This will also correspond to the reduction in the pension age.
Pensions
We will increase the state pension so that it is inline with earnings.
People will get more control over their retirement income.
Everyone will receive a decent state pension.
The state pension age will be decreased to the age of 60.
Tax and Economy
The levels of tax and wage levels will be reassessed so that there is a more steady increase of tax for as people earn higher wages.
Child credit raised will be raised for the first 2 years of power then steadily decreased till it reaches half of its current rates.
Tax credits will be stopped for families whose income is £50,000 or more.
There will be a 5% pay reduction for all MP’s followed with a 10% reduction in the number of MP’s in 5 years time.
All government money spending will be openly available to the public and will be easily accessible.
There will be a Carbon tax introduction on all companies that produce a certain level of carbon emissions.
Environmental issues
Carbon emissions will be cut by 30% by 2025 and by 80% of the current rates by 2050.
The rate of deforestation in the UK will be reduced by 20% of its current rates by 2025 with a further cut by 2050 to 50% of its current rates.
Environmentally friendly power production will be increased and by 2020 we will have a 15% increase of the power produced.
We will allow more money to research into more efficient green energy production so that the UK’s energy will be more environmentally friendly.
Every household will be allowed up to £6,500 worth of free insulation. The cost of this will be from the money that we save.
All new Coal-power stations will be built with clean carbon technology to reduce carbon emissions.
All homes will be energy efficient by 2016.
Central Government carbon emissions will be cut by 10% by the end of 2011.
The proposed carbon tax will help to encourage less carbon emissions.
